To resend a transaction and resend it, please follow these steps.
- From exAct's main screen, select the transaction.
- Click on Restore button (left-hand side, 4th from the bottom) and then on Yes or OK.
Note: If the transaction is archived, it must first be restored from the archives. From the top menu, click on View → Archived Transactions and click on Restore button and then on Yes. Your transaction now appears in the active transactions screen. Restore it again to change the status to New. If you do not need to edit it, click on Send & Update. To edit a transaction before sending, follow these steps:
- Open the transaction: Double-click on it OR select it and click on the Edit button.
- Make the changes. Save all screens on which you have made changes.
- Send the transaction.
Please note:
- ALWAYS SAVE THE CHANGES!
- Always restore the invoice/batch BEFORE you make any changes to it.
- Only batches with a status of NEW can be edited and sent.
- Not all modules have the ability to change the status from Sent to Accepted. It does not mean that your transaction was not accepted. If there is a reference number in the RefNum column, then we received it. As long as you did not get an error report, it was transferred to your client.
